چکیده
Variable reluctance linear machine (VRLM), which takes advantages of magnet free, simple structure and low cost, is one the emerging candidates for long stroke application. However, due to abundant harmonics in air gap, conventional modular suffered from thrust ripple leads vibration acoustic noise problem. The force VRLM mainly caused by higher-order induced voltage detent force. To furtherly suppress odd-order force, a fractional pole- pair unequal module arrangement (FP-UMA) design, distances adjacent modularized mover segments are not equal, proposed collaborated with complementary this paper. key that movers artificially designed be unequally distributed regarding spatial distribution eliminate along ripples they based on quantitative analysis components. It revealed that, FP-UMA ratio has been effectively relieved 4.6% 2.2% under copper loss 450W. Further, some design guidelines machine, such as position offset Δμ m2 , DC k xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">dc slot pole combinations discussed. In addition, feasibility method evaluated finite element well experiments.

In this paper, a new design of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) for electromagnetic launcher system (EMLs) has been investigated in terms of the requisite amount of average launching thrust force and thrust force ripple minimization through finite element method. EMLs are a kind of technology used to develop thrust force and launch heavy loads with different applications includ...
متن کاملTorque ripple reduction in switched reluctance motors – A review
The generated torque ripple in switched reluctance motors (SRM) can be considered as one of the major disadvantages of the motor. It is mainly due to frequent switching of phases for rotation of the motor and changes of the air gap length between the rotor and stator teeth. It decreases the average developed torque, diminish the efficiency, causes noise and vibration in the motor. So, in order ...
متن کاملOn torque ripple reduction in current-fed switched reluctance motors
This paper addresses a basic control issue in switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives—the production of a ripple-free torque. Simple and largely model-independent conventional supply waveforms are not able to satisfy this requirement. The goal of this paper is to improve SRM dynamical performance by compensating for motor nonlinearities, while maintaining the robustness of conventional methods. ...
متن کاملModeling of a synchronous reluctance machine accounting for space harmonics in view of torque ripple minimization
The paper deals with modeling of synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) accounting for all phenomena responsible for torque ripple. Based on winding function approach, the proposed model consists in computing self and mutual inductances considering no sinusoidal distribution of stator windings, slotting effect and no sinusoidal reluctance variation caused by the rotor saliency. Then, optimal curr...
